Margaret Clancy Powers, 34, of Atlanta, GA passed away on July 14, 2012. She was born and raised in Savannah. Clancy graduated from H. V. Jenkins High School and attended Georgia Tech.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bill and Harriet Gaudry, paternal Grandfather William J. Powers Jr., and uncles Joe Welsh, Mike Powers, and John Powers.

She is survived by her parents, John and Kathy Gaudry Cliett; father, Aloisyus Powers; boyfriend, Mike Kamin; paternal grandmother, Mary Powers; brothers and wives, Thomas and Cassie Powers and Joseph and Melanie Powers; brother, Edward Gaudry Cliett; sister, Morgan Hampton; nieces & nephews, Patrick Powers, Riley Powers & Elizabeth Powers and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The burial service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or Pet Rescue Agency.

It was so hard to find the words so here we go. Clancy was such a presence. My daughters, Amber, Abbey, Kirsten, and Kellie all adored her. We enjoyed it so much when she would drop by to visit. She would almost always have her bathing suit, whistle, and PINK crocs! The girls are sporting their lifeguard shorts Clancy gave them in memory of her. Peace and blessings to you all.
